Great day to raft the Rogue River

What a great day to be on the Rogue River. The four women came from FL and Olympia, WA. Only one of the four is retired and the rest save up their vacation time and travel internationally and this time nationally. They had been to Crater Lake, spent the morning on the Rogue River and were headed to Gold Beach.
The other two folk are staff from the Siskiyou Field Institute www.thesfi.org They won the silent auction item for a two person guided trip that Ferron's Fun Trips donated to the SFI Birds and Brew fundraiser. Such an honor to take them down the river. Besides kayaking and battling winds, they saw a bald eagle, an immature bald eagle and a red tailed hawk on today's Rogue River raft trip.
