Family fun on the Rogue River

Ferron took out this mother daughter pair in big blue on Saturday. Mom is 87 years old and had a nice relaxing day with her daughter and Ferron. She's been in the Rogue valley for 69 years. They were visiting a neighbor when they noticed our Ferron's Fun Trip sign at our home and decided to give us a call. What a great community.

Friday of rafting on the Rogue River

Shawn W. guided two couples on the river today. The first couple enjoyed a full day trip which included a cougar sighting near Hellgate Canyon. Shawn picked up the next couple at Galice. Everyone had a great day filled with excitement and entertaining conversation. While some were on the river in an attempt to beat the heat Sue and Val spent the day in preparing for the last few busy weekends of the season. Fresh salsa from the garden, homemade cookies, and coleslaw are just some of the things to look forward to when choosing Ferron's Fun Trips for a full guided day trip.

Surprises on the Rogue River

This sweet couple has been on the Rogue river on many occasions. This time was special as it was a surprise for this man's partner. She typically made the arrangements and he planned the entire trip, so sweet.

Early morning at Hog Creek on the Rogue River

Here is Ferron's craft and kayaks waiting for guests to arrive for a fun day of rafting on the Rogue River.  With temperatures this past week hovering about 100 degrees, the coolness of the morning on the Rogue River is a welcome relief.

Two Day Rogue River Trip from Griffin Park to Grave Creek

Sue's Rogue Community College colleague, her partner, her mother and sister, her girlfriend since she was 9 years old and her sister's college roommate rafted with Sue last week end.  The first day we saw very few rafters in the mellow river whitewater and we did see quite a few jetboats!  The second day from Indian Mary Park to Grave Creek was a day in the double kayaks with everyone trading off.  It was a wonderful week end.

Rogue River family rafting trip August 12

This husband and wife retired to southern Oregon from the Willamette Valley.  They were looking for somewhere warmer and sunnier and the husband had grown up in the area.  They purchased a home on the Rogue River and have been rafting various sections.  They joined Ferron's Rogue River Fun Trips to raft the Galice to Grave Creek section of the Rogue River and were joined by their daughter and their grandson who was visiting from South Carolina.  They got their sunshine and warm weather, too, as temperatures were above 100 degrees.
