July 16 Rogue River rafting day trip

The couple on the left is from Kentucky and has been traveling cross country. They spent the day with Ferron's Rogue River Fun Trips and will head home via Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore. The family on the right is staying at the Lily Pad in Takilma and joined us for the afternoon half day trip. They are visiting from Minnesota. At Argo one of the paddlers in the double tomkat fell out but the other paddler managed to keep the boat afloat.

July 15 Rogue River family trip

Here is the Nevada crew that rafted with Ferron's Rogue River Fun Trips. There was some excitement at Argo and everyone worked like a team for the rescue. After their float the family was headed to Out 'N About Treehouses in Takilma.

July 8 morning half day on the Rogue River

This was part of our group on our morning Rogue River rafting trip. The group, excluding Ferron and Pupeye, are here to celebrate a family member's retirement party. The family member has been a teacher with Grants Pass School District for 38 years. The group joined a family from Germany who were on the full day trip.

July 7 half day afteroon on the Rogue River

Our afternoon half day trip was a local Williams family. This was not the first trip for the young kayaker in the front of the boat. And of course, Pupeye, perched on the bow of the boat, kept a watchful eye for geese along the river's shore.

July 2 half day trippers on the Rogue River

We had a great group of rafters on the Rogue today. On the right is our morning half day crew from various parts of the country. On the left are two of the afternoon group from New Mexico who are staying at Out 'N About Treehouse. These two kayaked the entire afternoon stretch. Both groups spotted bald eagles and a good time was had by all.

Family reunion rafting on the Rogue River

Our dear friend, Wayd, rowed Babe, the Big Blue Ox, as his wife's family joined together. Tomorrow they will celebrate the memory of their mother/grandmother who passed away earlier this year.

Enchanted Forest Leadership Camp rafts the Rogue River

Last week end Ferron's Fun Trips donated tahitis and raft to the Table Rock Foundation's Enchanted Forest Leadership Camp. As you can see, many young people were able to experience the beauty and fun of the Rogue River while they also benefited from participating in this wonderful camp sponsored by the Table Rock Foundation.
